FAQ
We offer a few types of Talitot, each crafted with care: some in soft cotton, some in cozy wool, and some with a beautiful blend of both.
Most of the Talitot on our site are lovingly 100% handmade.
In our Carmel Collection, we blend a machine-made Talit with a handwoven Atara and carefully crafted corners.
After weaving, each Talit is sewn and the Tzitzit are tied (please note that we do not make the Tzitzit ourselves).
You can see all the weaving stages here.
The process of turning threads into the Tallit fabric is entirely done by hand using a pedal loom. Each Tallit takes several days to weave, carefully stretching each thread that makes up the fabric, one by one, on the loom. The weft threads are then woven over them using a shuttle. Afterward, the reinforcements and Atara are sewn in, and finally the Tzitzit are tied by devout, skilled hands.
Every Tallit is a unique creation, made with care just for you.
Once your order is placed, we begin the weaving and detailing, crafting each piece thoughtfully.
From start to finish - including finishing touches and quality checks - approximately 2-8 weeks, depending on the collection.
A handwoven Tallit has a truly unique and beautiful character. The fabric comes out natural and soft, with an authentic look that can’t be replicated by machines. Handweaving allows freedom and creativity in design, blending colors and textures in subtle ways that highlight the artistry and attention to detail woven into every piece.
We can provide all traditional tying styles for the Tzitzit. If you have a special preference, simply mention it in the order notes and we’ll be happy to prepare it exactly as you wish.
